Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 2 October 2026

These terms apply when you use our website, ask for a quote or buy a mattress from us. Please read them before you place an order. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA) or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002 (ECTA).

1. About us

2. Using our website

  • The information on this website is for general guidance. We try to keep it accurate and up to date, but sizes, models and photos are examples and the final specification is the one on your quote.
  • The text, photos, videos and logos on this website belong to us or are used with permission. You may not copy them for commercial use without our written consent.
  • You may not use the website in a way that is unlawful or that could damage it or interfere with other users.
  • Links to other websites are for convenience only; we are not responsible for their content.

3. Quotes

  • A quote is based on the vehicle details, measurements and photos you give us. If these turn out to be different, the price may change and we will confirm it with you before we start.
  • Quotes are valid for [30] days unless the quote says otherwise.
  • Prices are in South African rand and [include VAT / are not subject to VAT – choose one]. Delivery or courier costs are shown separately unless the quote says otherwise.

4. Custom-made mattresses and measurements

  • Most of our mattresses are made to fit your specific truck, bakkie, caravan or tent. Please check the measurements and specification on your quote carefully before you confirm.
  • If you supply the measurements, you are responsible for their accuracy. If we take the measurements, we are responsible for them.
  • Because custom mattresses are made to your specifications, they cannot be returned or exchanged simply because you changed your mind, and the cooling-off period under section 44 of ECTA does not apply to them. This does not affect your rights if a mattress is defective (see section 8).

5. Orders and payment

  • An order is confirmed when you accept the quote and we receive [A DEPOSIT OF X% / FULL PAYMENT].
  • The balance is payable [BEFORE DISPATCH OR COLLECTION].
  • We accept [EFT / CARD / CASH – list methods]. Please use your quote or invoice number as the payment reference.
  • The mattress remains our property until it has been paid in full.

6. Production, delivery and collection

  • Production starts once your order is confirmed. Production times on a quote are estimates; we will let you know promptly if there is a delay.
  • You can collect your order from our store in Pretoria West during business hours, or we can courier it anywhere in South Africa at the cost shown on your quote.
  • Please check your order when it arrives and tell us within [2 BUSINESS DAYS] if it was damaged in transit, with photos if possible.
  • Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the order is delivered to you or collected by you or your courier.

7. Cancellations

  • You may cancel an order before we start making it and we will refund what you paid, less any reasonable costs we have already incurred.
  • Once cutting or manufacturing has started, we may keep a reasonable amount to cover materials and work already done, as allowed by the CPA.

8. Quality, defects and warranty

  • Under the CPA you are entitled to goods of good quality that are free of defects. If a mattress has a defect within six months of delivery, you may return it and choose to have it repaired or replaced, or to receive a refund.
  • [OPTIONAL: ANY LONGER WARRANTY YOU OFFER, e.g. “Our foam is covered by a X-year warranty against…”]
  • The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, accidents, water or fire, unsuitable cleaning, or alterations not made by us, or a mattress that does not fit because the measurements you supplied were wrong.
  • To make a claim, contact us with your invoice number and photos of the problem.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or products. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for gross negligence or any liability that cannot be excluded under the CPA.

10. Privacy

We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Complaints and disputes

If you are unhappy, please contact us first and we will do our best to resolve it. If we cannot agree, you may approach the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (cgso.org.za) or the National Consumer Commission.

12. General

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
  • We may update these terms from time to time; the version on the website when you placed your order applies to that order.
  • Our address for legal notices is 271 Charlotte Maxeke Street, Pretoria West.
